Shall we make some magic?

Lucy is learning. Every spell she gets right changes something you can see: a flower stands up again, a crystal runs clear, a small animal finally flies.

Lucy in the fairy city, holding a crystal, with waterfalls and lit windows behind her.

What you do

Five ways to work a spell.

Not five separate games. Five kinds of hand movement that every spell in the city is built from, taught one at a time and then mixed.

1

Trace

Draw the shape of the spell with one finger. Stars, drops, leaves, and shapes that do not sit still.

2

Fit

Put the pieces where they belong, like the stained glass in the workshop windows.

3

Balance

Hold something steady while it wants to tip. Patience beats speed.

4

Brew

Chop, pour, stir and wake the potion up. The recipe is on the bench and the bench is a mess.

5

Tune

Listen to a crystal and adjust until the note is right. The city answers back.

The city

Six places, and you go back to all of them.

Gardens, workshops, canals and squares in a great city of the Last Myth world. You walk it once learning, and once more when the light has changed and so has what people need from you.

Lucy the apprentice, in pink crystal, holding a shard of light.

Lucy

She is after her wings.

That is what she is working toward, and everything she learns is a step closer. The city keeps needing something first: a garden that will not hold, a crystal that will not run clear, a friend with a workshop full of half-finished work. Lucy learns magic by helping, one spell at a time, in the same world the other Last Myth games are set in.
